Being a native to Greensboro, I like to think that I know it like the back of my hand! For me, it’s not just my home. It’s my high school’s Friday night lights. It’s my best friends. My favorite restaurants. My happy place. My family. My security blanket. My favorite pumpkin chocolate chip cake. The best Christmas I ever had. Days at the pool with my friends. Snow days. My first job. School dances. Soccer practices and tennis lessons. Violin recitals. You see, it’s so much more than just a city or a place. It’s where so many of my memories were created.
It’s also where I purchased my first house, but for me, it’s not just a house, it’s my home—or as I like to call it, The Mint Cottage—and home to so many more memories to come! Pretty cool, right? As a recent first-time home buyer myself, I know how important support is throughout the process, whether it be emotional, financial, or moral support. I am confident that with the support of the Allen Tate family and resources behind me, we’ll get you moving, because we believe the best moments happen at home!
Having studied Property Management and Consumer Economics at The University of Georgia, I have been able to utilize my acquired knowledge in a property management career here in the Triad. For the past 3 years I have been working to manage properties ranging from 120 units to 600 units. Through my varying roles in this industry, I have gained experience in sales, marketing, operations, and strategy—but most importantly, this career has afforded me the opportunity to help many find the perfect home for them, no matter their financial situation nor their life chapter.
When I’m not helping folks with their home purchases and sales, I take advantage of all the things this awesome city has to offer! Having grown up playing instruments, mainly the violin, I have a serious soft spot for the Greensboro Symphony, and the arts, in general. I am actively involved in the Greensboro Symphony Guild, and Vivace. I am also a member of The Junior League of Greensboro, where I currently serve on the special events committee and volunteer at the Bargain Box, JLG’s biggest fundraiser; and after all of that, in the little spare time I may have, you can find me baking at The Mint Cottage. From cookies to pies, you’ll find me writing about all my goodies and the events they attended on my blog, 203 Yumlington Place—my favorite non-destination destination!
